Viterra has acquired full ownership of General Mills’ grain facility at Northgate, N.D.
It previously held a 50 percent stake through a joint venture agreement with General Mills.
The purchase will continue to expand Viterra’s presence in the United States.
Its assets in North Dakota also include special crops facilities in Ray and Minot and a grain elevator at Grand Forks.
