Fertilizer prices changed little in the United States in the latter half of May.The following prices, based on a regular United States Department of Agriculture survey in Illinois, compare May 27 to May 13 and are in U.S. dollars per short ton.The anhydrous ammonia range was steady at $515 to $635 but the average rose to $530.19, unchanged from May 13.The range for urea 46-0-0 was steady at $395 to $470. The average was $434.64, unchanged.Diammonium phosphate 18-46-0 ranged from $470 to $536. The average was $504.85, up one cent.The potash range was $460 to $550 to average $493.18, down 29 cents.
