The high selling Speckle Park bull sold for $10,250 April 6 at the Summit 3 sale in Edmonton.
The bull, consigned by Codiak Acres of Ardrossan, Alta., sold to Johner Stock Farms of Maidstone, Sask. It was one of 38 lots from Codiak and from River Hill Farm of Neilburg, Sask.
The high selling heifer, also from Codiak, sold for $17,000 to Clark Haven Farm of Ardrossan.
Results provided by the consignors indicated 12 yearling bulls averaged $4,392, 11 two-year-old bulls averaged $6,150 and eight heifers averaged $6,500.
Flushes, embryos and semen were also part of the sale.
