Cropland topsoil moisture conditions are rated about 55 percent adequate and about 40 percent surplus, while hayland and pastures are about 80 percent adequate.
Recent rainfall and strong wind have caused significant lodging.
NORTHWEST
About 30 percent of the crop is harvested compared to the five-year average of 47 percent.
