New Alberta premier Alison Redford has appointed her new cabinet, shuffling, adding and dropping ministers, including the agriculture minister.
Evan Berger, MLA for Livingstone-Macleod, replaces Jack Hayden as agriculture minister.
Hayden, MLA for Drumheller-Stettler, is the new minister of tourism, parks and recreation.
Berger was first elected in 2008 and was appointed parliamentary assistant to the minister of sustainable resource development.
Berger, an active farmer and rancher from Nanton, served as a member if the Municipal District of Willow Creek, nine as reeve and six as chair of the Municipal Planning Commission and Agricultural Service Board.
