A male driver died after his grain truck rolled over on the Anerly grid road northwest of Dinsmore, Sask., late yesterday afternoon.
Outlook RCMP and Dinsmore EMS and Fire attended the scene.
The RCMP said in a statement that the rollover caused extensive damage to the cab of the semi truck. It took first responders about two hours to remove the driver, who died at the scene from extensive injuries.
An RCMP collision re-constructionist and a coroner were on hand to assist with the ongoing investigation. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
The deceased’s name is not being released at this time.
The road was reopened a little after midnight.
