Light rain is expected to develop Wednesday in Saskatchewan and then move toward Manitoba in the following days, according to this five day forecast map from the U.S. Weather Service Prediction Center.

By Friday and through the weekend, significant accumulations are expected in southern Manitoba and southeastern Saskatchewan.

Southern Alberta is expected to get light moisture during the period, with the largest accumulation along the U.S. border. Central and northern Alberta remain dry

Major accumulations are expected late in the week all down the US. western Plains providing a major benefit to dry hard red winter wheat growing areas.
