(CNS Canada) — Farmers Edge, a supplier of digital farming tools, and crop protection/seed company Nufarm have announced an alliance.
The agreement allows Nufarm in Australia to distribute Farmers Edge digital offerings, including daily satellite imagery from its farm risk management platform FarmCommand, which is designed to provide farmers with quick analytics to help them make better production decisions. FarmCommand can draw information from multiple service providers and integrate them into one place, enabling farmers to make economic, agronomic and production decisions supported by reliable data.
Farmers Edge plans to use Nufarm’s distribution network to boost its market profile, starting with Australia with plans to later expand into other key agricultural markets.
