Several John Deere dealerships in southern Alberta have consolidated to form Western Tractor Company Inc.
The companies joining forces are McKay Bros. Farm Implements Ltd. in Lethbridge and Green Power Ltd. in Taber, Burdett and Medicine Hat.
All 107 employees have been retained and Western Tractor is expecting to increase staff in the coming year, said Alan Fabro, Western Tractor General Manager in a news release.
The company will hold celebrations at each of its locations in February and early March to mark the consolidation and introduce the new John Deere 8000 Series tractor.
