CP Rail’s main line from Maple Creek, Sask., to Medicine Hat Alta., is closed because of flooding and erosion that happened on the weekend.
Traffic is being diverted to the railway’s line through Saskatoon and through agreements with other railways in Canada and the United States.
A CP Rail spokesperson told Reuters there were minimal delays.
