A semi-trailer carrying hogs has rolled over on the Trans-Canada Highway near Brandon, this afternoon.

The driver of the truck was unharmed, but a number of hogs were injured or killed, according to police.

RCMP reported that the truck rolled into the median, about three kilometres east of the junction with Highway 250, at around 2:30 p.m.

RCMP, emergency crews and the trucking company are trying to deal with cleanup by rounding up the hogs, including the ones that died.
