BEIJING, (Reuters) – China will further expand soybean production and reduce corn acreage in some areas in the next five years, according to an official document published by state-owned Xinhua news agency.
China will stabilize production of wheat and rice during the same period of time, according to a five-year plan on rural rejuvenation published by the country’s State Council.
Beijing did not give further details on these policies in the document.
