Today is the first day that producers can submit applications to the Canadian Canola Growers Association’s Post-Harvest Advance Payment Program.
The program provides up to $400,000 in cash advances for eligible producers, with the first $100,000 interest-free.
Applications can be made online at www.ccga.ca or by phoning 866-745-2256. Application forms can also be picked up at several local elevators.
This year also marks the first year that applications can be submitted by fax, at 204-788-0039.
The deadline to apply for the advances is March 1.
