WS White’s Ag Sales and Service Ltd. in Whitewood, Sask., is buying Morris Sales and Service in Yorkton, Sask.
The staff will be retained.
“The WS White’s dealership will offer a full line of equipment that will include tractors and harvest equipment as well as seeders,” said Morris chief executive officer Casey Davis in a news release.
Davis said the sale will also benefit the Morris equipment line. “White’s is a specialist in retail, and this expertise will enhance marketing opportunities for our product line,” he said.

The Yorkton sale is expected to be finalized July 16.
In other industry news, Rocky Mountain Dealerships Inc., has completed the previously announced agreement to buy Camrose Farm Equipment Ltd. for $5.7 million cash consideration. CFE is a dealer of Case IH and New Holland Agriculture equipment operating in Camrose and Killam, Alta. As well, Cervus Equipment Corp. has completed its purchase of 30 percent of the shares in Windmill AG Pty Ltd., a John Deere agriculture dealer with four locations in Australia. The Windmill deal cost $2.7 million.
Cervus also bought for a nominal consideration a 45 percent interest in PPJ Investment Ltd., an Australian real estate holding company that owns some of the land on which the dealerships are located.
