Broadleaf herbicide
The name says what it does when it comes to taking back grass pasture from weeds.
Dow has registered a new herbicide, Reclaim, that targets broadleaf pasture pests such as wolf willow, wild rose, shrubby cinquefoil and buckbrush.
The herbicide allows producers to graze their livestock without a time restriction post application, with the exception of lactating dairy cows.
The registration claims up to 24 months of efficacy for some shrubs and weeds.

Big cat tracks
Bobcat has pumped up its skid steer loader lineup with two new machines that are the largest the company offers in each class.
The T870 tracked loader can handle seven percent more load than the company’s T320. The lift height has been boosted as well, allowing the machine to load over the sides of many tandem truck boxes, feed mixers and manure spreaders.
The new tire version, the S850, handles more payload, 3,875 pounds or 17 percent more than the current-largest model, the S330.
Both have the cab-forward design. For more information, visit www.bobcat.com.
