A new precision guidance receiver by John Deere has improved signal acquisition and recovery.
The Starfire 3000 detects pitch, roll and yaw of the machine on which the antenna is mounted and is better able to manage obstacles such as trees and hills that create signal shadows. Service activations, software and firmware upgrades can be done wirelessly.
It is compatible with the Starfire 450 RTK and 900 RTK radios and with GPS and GLONASS signals.
