Equipment hall of fame seeks nominees

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers’ Hall of Fame is seeking nominations for the 2023 induction ceremony. Since its inception in 1993, the organization has inducted 67 individuals who have contributed to the construction and agriculture equipment manufacturing industry. Nominations will be accepted until June 16. More information is at aem.org.

The fund will support upgrades to established businesses, the use of robotics and other technology, new product development and commercialization, specialized training for production staff on new technology and systems, and the hiring of specialized experts.

Cody Erman, a Lethbridge College-trained apprentice, has won Agco’s 2022 North American Technician of the Year award and $5,000 after a test of skills over three days against four other top technicians.
