Milton Dyck, national president of the PSAC Agriculture Union, said it was unlikely the workers would walk out this week because they are still bargaining. However, if and when they do, essential workers who take care of livestock and handle payroll would be exempt from the walkout. Services for farmers and others seeking government assistance would be unavailable.
