High stream flow advisories remained in effect today for Alberta’s Bow River, Red Deer River below the Dickson Dam, Clearwater River and Peace River upstream of the town of Peace River in northern Alberta
Alberta Environment said water levels are falling on the Bow and Clearwater but they continue to rise on the Red Deer and the Peace.
A flood warning was also issued today for the Little Red Deer River. Provincial forecasters said the river has peaked near Water Valley but is still rising at the confluence.
High streamflow advisories have ended for the South Saskatchewan River, the Red Deer River above Dickson Dam, North Saskatchewan River and Athabasca River.
