Approximately 20,000 chicks were killed in a fire at a poultry facility near Canora, Sask., last weekend.
Canora/Sturgis RCMP and the Canora Fire Department responded to a fire at the Coastal Poultry Farm early in the morning on March 24.
One barn, along with the chickens inside, was destroyed. There were no human injuries.
RCMP said the fire doesn’t appear to be suspicious.
