Cargill Ltd. planned to close its Langbank, Sask., crop input sales facility Feb. 15.

The company said the aging facility no longer effectively met the needs of the company and its customers.

It will continue to work with customers through facilities in Balcarres and Yorkton in Saskatchewan and Elva and Oakner in Manitoba, as well as using alternate direct-to-farm service options.
