The Canadian Wheat Board today released its Pool Return Outlooks for old and new crop years.
Old crop
In the May PRO for the 2010-11 crop year wheat values are unchanged to up $6 a tonne from last month’s PRO, depending on class, grade and protein level. Milling durum is up by $6 a tonne. Barley is unchanged from the April PRO.
No. 1 CWRS 11.5 percent protein is $304 per tonne at port, up $5 from April.
No. 1 CWAD 11.5 percent protein is $290 per tonne, up $6 from April.
New crop
In the PRO for the 2011-12 crop year, wheat values increased between $10 and $16 a tonne from last month’s PRO, depending on class, grade and protein level.
Durum is up between $10 and $14 per tonne. Malting barley has increased by $22 per tonne, while Pool A feed barley is up $6 per tonne.
No. 1 CWRS 11.5 percent protein is $310 per tonne at port, up $12 from April.
No. 1 CWAD 11.5 percent protein is $346 per tonne, up $14 from April.
