In harmony, not with weeds
DuPont has released a new version of its Harmony line of herbicides. This one takes aim at Group 2 resistant kochia and cleavers as well as the grassy weeds and broadleafs that are on the Harmony SG controlled weed list.Harmony Max contains water soluble granules of thifensulfuron and tribenuron, Refine, for the broadleaf weeds and the emulsifiable concentrate of clodinafop-propargyl, Horizon, to deal with grassy weeds such as wild oat and green foxtail.Harmony Max stands apart from the Harmony SG, a Group 1 and 2 herbicide, through the addition of the Group 4 product fluroxypyr, called Perimeter, found as a component of Attain, Prestige and Trophy.Inside the 40 acre coverage case is the dry Refine SG, the EC Horizon, the EC Perimeter and, built into the Horizon, the adjuvant. It is registered for spring planted wheat, including durum, up to the fourth tiller. For more information, visit www2.dupont.com/Crop_Protection/en_CA/.
