Draper header

Dynaflex is Agco’s latest flexible draper header for Massey, Challenger and Gleaner combines manufactured since 2003.

The new headers are available in 30, 35 and 40 foot widths.

The headers are supported by independently dampened tilt arms spaced every 30 inches. The table has an eight inch travel with 10 degrees of tilt. Knife tips can be positioned to touch the ground in difficult conditions where crop is down or for pulses where podding is low on the plants.

Nytro Ag Corp and Green Lightning recieved an innovation award at Ag in Motion 2025 for the Green Lightning Nitrogen Machine, which converts atmospheric nitrogen into a plant-usable form.

In rocky soils, tips can be positioned back to avoid sickle damage.

Single acting hydraulic cylinders buffered by accumulators control header flex and height. Pressure up to 3,000 pounds can be applied to the system. Higher pressures minimize flexibility for soft soil conditions.

A pair of sickles are driven mechanically by a Schumacher elliptical gear system at 600 or 1,200 strokes per minute with an 80 mm stroke length. Sickles are available in seven and 14 serrations per inch for row or for small grain crops.

Two cutter bars are offered: the Agco Dynamax with spring-loaded knife hold-downs and the Schumacher roller retainers.

Reel speed is hydraulically controlled from the cab through the factory installed reel speed sensor, allowing forward ground speeds to seamlessly tailor to the reel.

Box spreader

The latest New Holland box spreaders are heavy duty units with a heaped capacity of 524 and 628 cubic feet of manure.

The boxes of the M2080 and M2090 have solid plastic floors and plastic covered plywood sides.

Supported by a channel steel frame that is integrated with the hitch, the manure spreader travels on tandem walking axles.

The speed of the apron chains delivering the material to the power take-off powered beaters is hydraulically fed and governed by a cab mounted control. The 18 beater paddles are replaceable.

Round baler

Hesston is offering a new line of round balers.

Four- and five-foot models are available, with a reversible 540 or 1,000 r.p.m. drive.

In the new 2800 series, loading of net wrap takes place lower on the machine for easier and safer handling of the bundles.

An automatic cycle on the baler, starts the bale-forming belt’s rotation, wraps the bale when complete, opens the clutch on the baler drive, opens the tailgate and closes it after the bale is released.

Twine storage has been increased from previous models and the controls are now all ISO standard friendly. The machine’s Console One is also an ISO compatible device, said Massey Ferguson.
