GPS system
AutoFarm and Raven Industries have developed a new GPS steering and application control system. The FarmPRO GPS system is the result of a product development agreement between the two precision ag companies.
Designed for professional growers and custom applicators, FarmPRO combines the Viper PRO display and control system from Raven Industries and the sub-inch accurate RTK AutoSteer from AutoFarm.
FarmPRO is a fully integrated single control stream that uses one terminal. It offers variable rate control and complete boom management, along with sub-inch accurate RTK steering.

Compact tractor
New Holland’s newest compact tractor, the 28 horsepower T1110 Boomer, is larger than a sub-compact tractor and has a longer wheelbase, taller profile and higher-performance specifications.
It has larger tires to improve stability, ground clearance and traction, as well as a longer wheelbase
for greater stability and a smoother ride.
The tractor features a two-range hydrostatic transmission with two separate direction pedals.
A three-cylinder diesel engine powers front- and
rear-mounted implements.
Drive features include a 2,200 r.p.m. mid power
take-off, a 540 r.p.m. rear p.t.o. and a 1,000 pound lift, three-point hitch that enables operation of rotary tillers, snow blowers, mowers, blades, brooms and front-end loaders.
Equipped with an optional 210TL front-end loader, the T1110 can move mulch, gravel and snow. Loader
lift capacity is 900 lb.
The Quick-Latch system allows attachment and removal of the loader in minutes.The optional Sensitrak system provides more turf friendly traction and better fuel efficiency. It engages and disengages the four-wheel drive automatically, only when needed, to reduce turf damage and increase the life of driveline components.

Tractor line expands
Buhler Versatile, a division of Buhler Industries Inc., has a new series of Versatile four-wheel drive tractors rated at 300 to 400 horsepower.
The new tractors have a longer wheelbase, more fuel capacity and a bigger cooling package than the outgoing models.
They also have the same cab and cab options as the successful high horsepower tractor range, which means more interior space and an available training seat.
The tractors are powered by Cummins QSM11
11-litre diesel engines and are available in 305, 340, 375 and 400 horsepower models.
The engines are Tier 3 compliant, meet the Tier 3 N0x emissions requirements and are approved for B20 biodiesel.
Two transmission options are available. The mechanical Quadshift 12 x 4 transmission features four synchronized sequential gears in each of its three ranges and is standard equipment.
The optional 12 x 2 powershift transmission features single-lever control that provides clutchless shifting and simple gear selection for smooth operation. Road speed has also been increased with the mechanical transmission now reaching a maximum speed of 35 km-h.
The hydraulic system has true load-sensing tandem piston pumps and a total capacity of 50 gallons or 190 litres per minute.
An optional high flow hydraulics package can increase hydraulic capacity to 75 gallons per minute or 290 litres per minute.
