Farm Credit donation
Farm Credit Canada has donated $85,000 to 4-H Canada.
The donation was announced Jan. 23 as part of Ag Day, an annual celebration of Canadian agriculture.
Ag Day involved events in nearly 100 locations and provided leading-edge information to producers and agribusiness operators regarding the 2008 production year.
FCC president Greg Stewart said the contribution to 4-H was intended to help youth explore agriculture and discover their passion for the industry. The money will be shared between the national and provincial 4-H organizations.
