Irrigation engine
Case IH has introduced four irrigation power units – P70, P85, P110 and P170 – which range from 70 to 170 horsepower. The first three are 4.5 litre four cylinder units, while the P170 is a 6.8 litre six cylinder unit.
All are equipped with a vernier self-locking speed control cable, so the operator can set the rpm level and walk away.
Other features include a radiator with a shroud, engine lifting brackets, a two-stage air cleaner with a restriction indicator, safety belt guards and an 85 degree curved exhaust pipe. The instrument panel is rodent-proof and side-mounted, instead of built into the frame.

Lawn cleanup
Coneivore can clean up lawns, gardens and orchards without requiring the operator to stoop or bend over.
The lightweight Coneivore is a 36 inch tube with handles, that can pick up pine cones, apples or other lawn debris.
The unit comes with two different sized cone caps, each designed to accommodate objects of various sizes. Coneivore’s slotted cap allows objects at least two to seven inches to slip into the tube when pushed over it. The tube is dumped out when full.
The Coneivore needs no assembly, weighs less than 2.5 pounds and sells for $34.95. For more information, visit www.coneivore.com.
