Share drive successful
North West Terminal Ltd. in Unity, Sask., plans to proceed with its planned ethanol plant next spring, having successfully closed its share offering memorandum.
NWT has received subscriptions for Class B shares totalling $16.4 million. Share sales ended Nov. 30.
The planned ethanol plant would have a capacity of 25 million litres per year and the total cost is expected to be $35 million.
“This is an important step forward for the project,” said NWT president Bob Cumming in a News release

“Now we will begin focusing our attention on building the ethanol plant and meeting with other conditions precedent in the offering.”
