Komatsu’s new SK1026-5 skid steer loader is the largest skid steer that the company makes.
At 3,660 kilograms, the loader is designed for heavy lift and carry jobs or routine excavating tasks.
The SK1026-5 is powered by an 84 horsepower Komatsu diesel engine. The hydraulic self-levelling bucket has a 40-degree dump and 28-degree rollback angle, along with a 2,450 kg breakout force. The vertical lift loader arm design makes it suitable for loading trucks or handling pallets.
The skid steer features a standard 21 gallons per minute hydraulic circuit, plus an additional circuit with a maximum flow of 34 gpm. The Komatsu anti-stall hydraulic system lets the operator work with full engine power and not worry about engine stall when using the hydraulics.
