Raven Industries has a new application management system. The Raven AMS 200 can provide variable rate control for liquid, granular or anhydrous products, and saves the application data to a computer card.
The system can work with popular agricultural field management software packages.
The AMS 200 has a screen that displays the application path and boom status on-the-go so the user knows what has been applied.
It can map field boundaries, features such as rocks and trees, and soil sample information.

Easy-mount blade
Leon Manufacturing has a new dozer blade for John Deere track-type tractors.
The model 4000 series blade will fit John Deere models 9300T and 9400T tractors. The manufacturer says the design enables the user to mount and dismount the complete dozer blade in less than 10 minutes.
The blade is 36 inches high and comes in widths from 10 to 16 feet. The lift height is 32 inches and there is a 15-inch underframe clearance to ensure access when working in soft or rough terrain.
The blade can be manually angled to the left or right at 23 degrees or with hydraulic angle and tilt of 27 degrees.
