Swing-away auger

Brandt has a new swing-away auger with a heavy-duty scissor lift for

extended reach to deal with tall bins, Quonsets and grain piles.

The swing-away 13-inch auger comes in 70 and 90 foot lengths. The

10-inch augers come in 60 and 70 foot lengths. The 90-foot model has an

adjustable axle, offering maximum reach with increased stability.

Plastic spouting on the swing tube transition spout is sealed and

access to the boot for inspection and clean out.

On the 13-inch swing-away auger there is a self-levelling hopper that

stays low regardless of how high the main auger is raised. The four

10-inch pneumatic wheels on the hopper are adjustable.

There are three six-inch drag augers in the hopper.

For durability, the high-throughput transition areas feature chain

couplers and larger gearboxes.

Massey Ferguson 4300

Massey Ferguson’s new 4300 tractor series has beefed up hydraulics and

a redesigned cab and control console.

The 4300 line accommodates tractors in the 55 to 99 horsepower range.

They are powered by four and six-cylinder Perkins engines featuring

steep torque rise as engine rpms fall under load.

There is a wide range of transmission options.

The top of the line 24-24 power shuttle has 11 gears in the five to 13

km-h range.

In the cab, there is a newly designed gear lever linkage and placement

of the gear lever on a right hand console. A knob on the console

controls the electro hydraulic pto engagement.

Nufarm liquid fungicide

Nufarm has a new fungicide to control early and late blight in

potatoes, beans, cucumbers, peppers, sugar beets and tomatoes. Parasol

is a copper hydroxide fungicide widely used by vegetable growers. It is

a liquid-based formulation that is easier to measure, pour and mix than

dry formulations. It can be tank mixed with a wide range of other

Bobcat on tracks

Bobcat now has rubber track compact loaders.

The T200 and T190 decrease ground disturbance and increase flotation

and traction.

The T200 has 17.7 inch or 12.6 inch tracks. It has 2000 pound rated

operating capacity and 121 inch lift height.

There is 20.6 gallons per minute auxiliary hydraulic output with a 32

gpm high flow option. The engine is a 73 horsepower turbo-charged

diesel.

The T190 has 12.6 inch tracks and a 118-inch lift height. The rated

operating capacity is 1,900 lb. The auxiliary hydraulic output is 16.7

gpm and the high flow option is 27 gpm. The engine is a 56 h.p.

turbo-charged diesel.

Horizon tank mixes

Syngenta has approval to add two more tank mix options to Horizon grass

herbicide.

It can now be used with Matador insecticide and Mecoprop, a broadleaf

herbicide.

The mix with Matador will allow control of insects such as

grasshoppers, wild oats and millet in one pass.
