Snowblower attachment
MacDon now produces a snowblower for its turbo windrower tractors.
The model 675 blower clears a 3.8 metre (12.5-foot) wide path.
The unit mounts in front of the tractor, providing good vision and traction.
The hydrostatic transmission allows on-the-go speed adjustments. Snow discharge is directed by the hydraulic chute controlled from the cab.
The quick attach system uses the tractor’s float and lift linkage and allows the blower and the adapter to float independently of the tractor for improved manoeuverability.

Ford attachments
Allied Transmission of Calgary has several new products for Ford vehicles.
The DuraTrans Programmable Overdrive Controler extends transmission and brake system life on Ford Dodge and Jeep vehicles. It disengages the overdrive when in the city and automatically engages at highway speed.
The Speed Sentinel allows fleet managers to limit maximum vehicle speeds on Ford Powerstroke diesel engines.
The Traction Assist Module helps with four-wheel ABS and traction control systems on Fords made from 1998 to the present.
The vehicle starts with the traction control off, but can be turned on with a button if required to cope with icy or wet roads.

Tiller attachment
New Holland has added new tillers to its line of attachments for skid-steer loaders.
The tines rotate in two directions, allowing the unit to operate when the vehicle is moving forward or backward. The tiller has a working depth of six inches. They come in 52, 73, and 84-inch widths.

Pulverizer
Brillion’s new Optimizer Pulverizer helps create a firm, textured seedbed.
Used alone or pulled behind a tillage tool, the Optimizer breaks soil clods and does light packing.
It has an average operating weight of 200 pounds per foot of width. The interlocking wheel design allows it to be used in wetter, trashier conditions without build-up on the wheels.
Each section drives as one gang.
Pull-type models come in sizes from 10 to 46 feet wide while three point hitch models are 10 to 20 feet.
