Post hole digger
Worksaver has introduced a new post hole digger.
The model 300 is compatible with most 14 to 24 horsepower tractors equipped with a category 0 three-point hitch and 540 r.p.m. power takeoff.
It handles 30-inch augers with six, nine and 12-inch diameters and features a lever that allows the operator to adjust the auger’s starting angle.
It also has a three-position boom so the unit fits a variety of tractor models, and a gearbox with a 3:1 ratio protected by the shear-pin p.t.o. drive.

Information on sustainable agriculture is now available on a website maintained by the Sustainable Agriculture Network.
It has on-line books and a database of more than 1,000 research projects funded by the United States Department of Agriculture.
Information includes managing cover crops profitably, e-mail addresses of researchers and a list of 200 organizations in the U.S. with sustainable agriculture expertise.

Association.
The cattle industry website at www.cattle.ca was established by several Canadian cattle organizations.
The Ontario Corn Producers’ Association recently launched www.corninfo.com. It carries information on production and processing the crop as well as research updates and links to other sites.
