New air seeders
Bourgault Industries Ltd. has expanded its line of 6000 Series air seeders. The L6450 air seeder is the newest model in the 6000 line. It has four internal tanks for a total capacity of 450 bushels. Tank configurations can be altered with the use of patented interconnecting ports.
Material can be diverted from one tank to another depending on the producer’s seeding requirements. Rear tires come in three sizes to suit different crop types and row spacing. The hitch weight is approximately 8,500 lb. when fully loaded. The rear spindles are bolted in.

The L6450 features two options for the load-unload auger. The first is a 10-inch auger with a standard hopper and a hydraulic cylinder to assist in swinging the main arm.
The second option is a 10-inch auger with a folding, low-profile transfer hopper for easy access to unloading hoppers on grain trailers. The second option also has hydraulic controls to fold the transfer hopper and move the auger.
The L6450 offers multiple distribution options including single shoot, double shoot, single shoot with broadcast and multi-shoot. The straight-through distribution system allows operators to easily change product delivery from a specific metering auger to the distribution pipe of choice.
Metering transmissions are ground-driven through a series of interconnecting drive shafts to angle gearbox drives, which power the variable rate transmissions.
The unit comes with a variety of optional monitors.

Containment tank
Koenders Manufacturing has
an oil containment tank designed for storing oil or other liquids on
the farm.
The tank is 106 centimetres high, 104 cm wide and 129 cm long. It comes with a 20 cm screw type
lid and a five cm bulkhead.
The tank is constructed with white, semi-translucent polyethylene plastic, allowing users to check the volume level.
The polyethylene construction is strong, durable and resistant to rust and corrosion.
