Air cart
Morris Industries has a new Controlled Traffic Precision air cart.
The tow-behind cart comes with two or three metre track widths and is available in 130 or 180 bushel capacities.
Controlled traffic farming is designed to make more efficient use of farmland and fuel by ensuring that tow-behind equipment follows in the paths of compacted wheel tracks. It also minimizes soil compaction and pulverization.

Soil tester
The Field Scout soil EC probe by Spectrum Technologies permits direct measurement of salt in soil, water and nutrient solutions.
The portable meter is ideal for measuring salinity in greenhouse soil. It eliminates the need for other time-consuming tests and allows greenhouse managers to fine tune their fertility programs by comparing readings from plant to plant.
Measurement can be made directly in the plug tray cell without cannibalizing the seedlings. Turf managers can monitor for high salt levels on golf course greens and determine when to flush salt before turf quality declines.
