Front-end loaders

Massey Ferguson has introduced the 948 and 956, two new front-end loaders designed to operate with the new MF 6100 and 8100 series tractors. A Quick-Attach loader mounting system saves time when installing or removing the loader and increases the versatility of the tractor. A self-storing parking stand supports the loader when it is not on the tractor and saves time when installing or removing. The MF 948 is designed for the 6100 series tractor and the 8120. The loader has a lift-up height of 3.8 metres and a lift capacity of 1.9 tonnes, depending on tractor model and tire size. The MF 956 is designed for the 8100 series. It has a lift-up height of 4.3 m and a lift capacity to 2.3 tonnes. Attachments include combination buckets, a bucket quick-attach kit; bucket teeth; round bale spear; grapple fork and hydraulic hose kits.

Split-tank sprayer

Brandt Industries has launched a new line of pull-type sprayers, the Quick Fold 1000, 2000 and 2000S. The QF 2000S has a split tank and dual booms, allowing operators to spray two different herbicide treatments at once.

The tank is split diagonally, giving the user better access and visibility. Single-tank capacity for the QF 1000 and 2000 is 3,773 and 5,683 litres respectively (830 and 1,250 imperial gallons) and for the split tank on the 2000S is 1,900/3,773 litres (420/830 gallons).

All sprayers are equipped with patented Brandt Wind Cones and a hydraulic wheel that allows the sprayers to move easily into field position.

An adjustable axle allows narrow and wider track widths. Wear and hinge points are bolted on to ease replacement.
