Terminal sire
Cotswold Swine Genetics has introduced the 951MQ Red Duroc boar as a
terminal sire.
It has several favourable traits including superior meat colour and
quality, such as optimal pH levels, high water holding capacity and
appropriate lean percentage.
The company says it is an aggressive breeder and offers maximum
heterosis with female lines.

Lightbar guidance system
TeeJet has a new lightbar guidance system.
The Guideline has precise, sub-metre swath guidance for all operations,
including silage, spraying and harvesting. The unit is weatherproof and
can be mounted anywhere. A readout above the high-intensity guidance
light reports information in easy-to-read text.
The light bar is paired with a Smartpad, a handheld unit with a backlit
graphic display. Field maps are displayed in real time. Field data can
be saved to a data card and archived.
Baselines can also be saved and used in successive applications. Its
intuitive setup allows operation with little training.
