GPS system
Outback Canada has introduced the Outback 360 GPS mapping system. It
provides easy, powerful mapping and field record-keeping capability. It
has a full-colour, high-resolution display that gives the operator a
clear real time picture of field position and function.
It will track field coverage, chemical rates, hybrids, seeding rates
and planting depth. It works in conjunction with the company’s GPS
guidance system.
Included with the package is the Field Notes PC software, which allows

Portable generators
Coleman has a new line of Honda-powered rugged portable generators.
They range from 5,500 to 6,500 running watts.
The overhead valve engines automatically shut down if the oil runs low.
There is a large fuel tank, a muffler that reduces engine noise and an
idle control feature that reduces engine speed when the electrical load
subsides. Circuit breakers and ground fault circuit interrupters are
standard.
A control panel has an hour meter and a volt meter that measures engine
performance.

Bourgault cart
Bourgault Industries’ new 750 Smart Cart is a 750 bushel grain cart
with features previously not available in mid-sized carts.
The turret-style unloading auger allows grain to be placed accurately
when cart-to-truck alignment is less than perfect. It also makes
topping off a load a manageable task. With the turret unloading auger
design, the operator avoids potential contact between the housing and
grain truck.
A gravity chute makes it possible to unload into grain augers or air
seeder loading augers.
There is a choice of power take-off drive, hydraulic drive, or both.
The hydraulic choke on the unload auger gives the operator independent
control over tractor rpm and the volume of grain fed into the auger.
The sloped cart top helps prevent combine operators from spilling grain
over the far side of the cart. All auger flightings are balanced and
ride on bearings for smooth and quiet operation. The tank exterior is
continuously welded.
The 750 Smart Cart is available with 24.5 x 32 lug tires or 800/65R32
radial lug tires. Other options include a scale package and a scale
printer package. An optional roll-over tarp package is also available.
