The long-term forecast is calling for an expansion of the ridge currently over the eastern Prairies to include most of Western Canada. The strong ridge will keep warmer than normal temperatures and mostly dry conditions through the first week of October. This will help finish the bulk of the 2025 harvest before Thanksgiving.
