The U.S. national live price average for barrows and gilts June 21 was not available. It was $66.11 June 14.
U.S. hogs averaged $86.04 on a carcass basis June 21, down from $87.61 June 14.

OlyWest 2021 was down, at $236.80, from $237.20, and HyLife’s adjusted price was $235.32 this week, down from $238.08 June 15.
Bison
The Canadian Bison Association reported that domestic carcass prices were $515-$535 per cwt., hot hanging weight, for finished bulls and $500-$515 per cwt. for finished heifers. Mature bulls were $300-$400 per cwt., while mature cows were $300-$400 per cwt.
Carcass prices for bison sold into the United States were US$420-$440 per cwt. for bulls and $380-$420 per cwt. for heifers. Mature bulls were $320-$335 while mature cows were $300-$330 per cwt.. All prices are subject to fluctuations in the market and dollar exchange rates.
Prices for live bison in Canada were $2.95 per pound for bulls and $2.90 per lb. for heifers of good quality or better. The mixed live animal price was $2.53-$2.88 per lb.
Lambs
Ontario Stockyards Inc. reported that 218 sheep and 313 lambs sold June 17.
Beaver Hill Auctions at Tofield, Alta., reported that 606 sheep and 91 goats sold June 17.
Wool lambs lighter than 54 lb. were $280-$335 per cwt., 55-69 lb. were $280-$300, 70-85 lb. were $300-$335, 86-105 lb. were $270-$315, and 106 lb. and heavier were $260-$277. Wool rams were $130-$210 per cwt. Cull ewes were $100-$150.
Hair lambs lighter than 54 lb. were $280-$310, 55-69 lb. were $270-$293, 70-85 lb. were $270-$300, 86-105 lb. were $280-$300 and 106 lb. and heavier were $250-$270. Hair rams were $150-$190 per cwt. Cull ewes were $105-$205.
