UFA announced an “historic” patronage dividend of $28 million to its membership.
The company says this is the sixth consecutive year it has given a patronage dividend and a 56 percent increase over last year.
With a minimum purchase of $5,000, dividends break down to five and six cents per litre on different types of diesel, one cent per litre for gasoline, and three percent on most other purchases. Fertilizer and micronutrients for crops are not included.
The company is also expanding into key markets in central and eastern Saskatchewan with new facilities having already opened in Yorkton and Weyburn, and another one planned for Saskatoon. A new store will also be built in Dunmore, Alta.
