Hogs
The U.S. national live price average for barrows and gilts Feb. 3 was $53.57.
U.S. hogs averaged $72.65 on a carcass basis Feb. 3, up from $70.63 Jan. 30.
The U.S. pork cutout was $79.09 per hundredweight Feb. 3, down from $79.25 Jan. 27.
The estimated U.S. weekly slaughter to Feb. 3 was 2.422 million, down from 2.441 the previous week.
Slaughter was 2.217 last year at the same time.
In Canada, the Feb. 4 Signature Four price was C$181.87 per 100 kilograms, unchanged from $187.87.
The Hams Marketing cash price was $179.87, unchanged from $179.87, HyLife was up to $193.51 from $193.26 the previous week and OlyWest was $173.70, down from $175.10.

Lambs
Ontario Stockyards Inc. reported that 441 sheep and 894 lambs sold Jan. 30.
Beaver Hill Auctions in Tofield, Alta. reported that 1,617 sheep and 198 goats sold Jan. 30.
Wool lambs lighter than 54 lb. were $190-$236 per cwt., 55-69 lb. were $190-$235, 70-85 lb. were $190-$231, 86-105 lb. were $190-$226 and 106 lb. and heavier were $175-$205. Wool rams were $100-$166 per cwt. Cull ewes were $185. The range was unavailable.
Hair lambs lighter than 54 lb. were $160-$226, 55-69 lb. were $180-$223, 70-85 lb. were $180-$225, 86-105 lb. were $180-$205 and 106 lb. and heavier were $165-$191. Hair rams were $100-$137 per cwt. Cull ewes were $100-$155.
