Manitoba Ag Days has been postponed.
The annual farm show, held every January at the Keystone Centre in Brandon, will not take place on January 18-20 because of new public health orders in Manitoba.
On December 27 the Manitoba government announced a 250-person limit on all public gatherings, including hockey games, concerts and other events to limit the spread of COVID-19 in the province.

Auctions of Saskatchewan crown lease land are once again on hold.
Given that decision, Ag Days directors decided to postpone the event to a date “yet to be determined.”
“The management team is currently working with the host facility and service providers to come up with alternate dates. Further information will be provided as soon as possible,” the Board of Directors and Management Team of Manitoba Ag Days said in a statement.
Premier Heather Stefanson and the province’s chief public health officer, Brent Roussin, unveiled the 250-person limit on gatherings because 550-700 Manitobans have been testing positive for COVID-19, per day, during the Christmas holidays.
“We’ve now introduced and expanded (public health) orders twice since Omicron being in Manitoba,” Roussin said. “So we definitely feel it’s urgent.”
Ag Days is the largest agricultural trade show in Manitoba. It normally attracts 40,000 – 50,000 visitors over three days.
