The Maine-Anjou show took place at Canadian Western Agribition Nov. 24.
The grand champion bull banner was taken home by Rusylvia Cattle Co. from Derwent, Alta. That company also won reserve grand champion.
Pick Six Cattle from Gull Lake, Sask., won grand champion female. Rusylvia Cattle won the reserve.
Rusylvia Cattle Co. was also awarded Class 22 premier breeder, and Class 23 premier exhibitor.
For the sale, one bull was sold at $14,500 to Rocky Lane Farm.
For the eight bred heifers, the average was $5,938 with the highest seller being sold for $8,500. For the six heifer calves, the average was $7,750 with the Hansens being the top seller.
For 26 semen lots, the average was $952.
The one embryo lot sold for $2,400. Two flushes averaged at $4,250.
The total in gross sales was $144,150.
