The Canadian Cattlemen’s Foundation has joined Agriculture in the Classroom Canada as a Foundational and Educational Partner with a $50,000 grant.
The collaboration will support the development of agriculture education resources including a teacher guide for Guardians of the Grasslands, a documentary that explores the state of the Great Plains grasslands and the role cattle play in its survival.
The Guardians of the Grasslands educator and classroom materials are expected to roll out to classrooms across Canada in the fall.
