Sales teams join

Canterra Seeds and Nufarm Agriculture have formed a new joint sales organization to market seeds and herbicides. This fall, the companies will have sales managers in Brandon, Regina and Calgary.

“By sharing a sales force, each company can now put more salespeople in the field working with distributors, retailers and farmer customers,” said Dave Sippell, Canterra managing director.

Richard Rose, general manager of Nufarm, said the arrangement will spread work through the year, with the sales force focusing on Nufarm’s products such as Amitrol 240 and Credit in mid winter and early spring and Canterra’s seed, such as AC Intrepid wheat, canolas, pulse crops and hemp varieties, in late fall and early winter.
