A combine was involved in a fatal crash south of Cudworth, Sask. that left two dead and another injured.
First responders were called to the intersection of Highway 2 and provincial grid road 767 at 5 p.m., Sept. 27.
Police report a car collided with the combine as the machine came off the grid road from the east onto the highway.
Two female passengers of the car were pronounced dead at the scene, while a third passenger was transported to Saskatoon for treatment of his injuries.
The combine operator was uninjured.
RCMP say traffic reconstructionists are investigating.
The victim’s names had not been released to the public as of Oct. 1.
