Hogs
The U.S. national live price average for barrows and gilts was US$61.21 per hundredweight June 15, up from $56.72 June 8.
U.S. hogs averaged $82.87 on a carcass basis June 15, up from $76.48 June 8.
The U.S. pork cutout was $84.09 per cwt. June 15, up from $79.47 June 8.
The estimated U.S. weekly slaughter to June 16 was 2.215 million, down from 2.271 million the previous week.
Slaughter was 2.178 million last year at the same time.
In Canada, the June 9 Signature Five price was C$185.04 per 100 kilograms, up from $163.53 the previous week.

The price was $83.93 on a per hundredweight basis, up from $76.90.
Bison
The Canadian Bison Association said Grade A bulls in the desirable weight range sold at prices up to C$6 per pound hot hanging weight. U.S. buyers are offering US$4.60 or more with returns dependent on exchange rates, quality and export costs.
Grade A heifers sold up to C$6. U.S. buyers are offering US$4.40.
Animals outside the desirable buyer specifications may be discounted.
Lambs
Ontario Stockyards Inc. reported that 969 sheep and lambs and 14 goats sold June 11. Well-fed light lambs sold $10-$15 cwt. higher. Sheep sold steady to stronger. Goats held steady.
