Harvesting Hope at the Manitoba Threshermen’s Reunion and Stampede near Austin, Mb drew participants and spectators from all over North America at the world-record threshing attempt.
The previous threshing record saw 111 threshing machines working together and was set by a group from St. Albert, Ontario last year.
Harvesting Hope had 139 threshing machines working at the same time for 15 consecutive minutes, although the official world-record nod has not yet been received when this article was written
Harvesting Hope raised money for the Canadian Foodgrains Bank.
