Watch Canada’s Ag Markets Updates for the most important crop and livestock market information of the week.

D’Arce McMillan, The Western Producer markets editor, monitors trends in the North American and global agricultural markets. Each week he hosts three markets videos, oilseeds, cereals, and livestock. The videos are designed to help viewers understand the forces responsible for changes in the trade.

If agricultural markets are important to you, we have you covered.

Oilseeds:

Grain markets appear to feel that they have priced in the crop damage done by challenging weather around the Northern Hemisphere this summer.

Crop prices have been falling as the Midwest starts to dry out and the western Prairies gets some rain.

Cereals:

Improving weather in the U.S. Midwest and in the western Prairies has crop futures markets giving back ground.

Livestock:

Fed cattle prices remained under pressure last week as beef prices fell during the dog days of summer.

The Canadian feeder market was lightly tested and prices were little changed.
